Trailer 1: the first look
Trailer 1 introduced Lucia, the return to Vice City, and a broad view of Leonida’s social-media-saturated world. Its original release window is historical and has been superseded. The trailer remains useful evidence for setting and tone, but its date card should not be reused as current release information.
Trailer 2: Jason and Lucia
Trailer 2 gives a closer look at Jason and Lucia and was accompanied by official people-and-places profiles. Those written profiles are the source for names and biographies in our guides. The edited footage does not, by itself, confirm character-switching rules, cooperative play, or the order of story events.
An Extended Look
Published August 27, 2026, Rockstar’s extended presentation adds more visual context for Leonida and the central story. We treat it as a separate milestone because it expands the official record without replacing the numbered trailers. Observed scenes remain distinct from features explained in publisher text.
The launch trailer
Rockstar published the launch trailer on October 15, 2026 and again named the November 19 console release. The accompanying post identifies Justice as the original-score composer and highlights “Flower in a Hurricane.” It does not announce PC, publish system requirements, or provide a universal unlock time.
Watch in publication order
For the cleanest record, watch Trailer 1, Trailer 2, An Extended Look, and the launch trailer in that order. Publication order shows how Rockstar added context over time and reduces the chance that a later fact will be projected backward onto earlier footage.
Our trailer-analysis rule
We separate three levels of evidence: what is directly visible, what Rockstar says in accompanying text, and what viewers infer. Only the first two can support a confirmed statement, and visible footage still cannot establish the rules of a mechanic that the publisher has not described.
