Announced platforms
Rockstar lists PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S for November 19, 2026. The official game page, launch-trailer announcement, edition page, and support material reviewed on October 20 do not list Windows, Steam, or the Epic Games Store. A confirmed console date therefore does not establish a PC version or timetable.
Why previous Rockstar releases are not proof
GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2 reached PC after their console releases, which explains why many players expect a similar sequence. A pattern can support a prediction, but schedules depend on the individual project. We label that expectation as rumored until Rockstar or Take-Two names PC as a GTA VI platform.
No verified PC date or store page
Dates circulated by retailers, social accounts, videos, or generated search summaries are not official announcements. A placeholder listing can reserve catalog space without confirming a launch. We will require a primary-source announcement or an authenticated platform listing before publishing a PC date as confirmed.
No official system requirements
Any CPU, GPU, memory, storage, or operating-system list currently presented as GTA VI requirements is speculative. Console specifications and trailer image quality cannot be converted into reliable PC requirements. Buying an upgrade around an unofficial list risks spending against a target that may change.
What would change this page
A Rockstar Newswire post, official support article, Rockstar Games Launcher listing, or verified PC storefront page would be sufficient evidence. When that happens, we will record the announcement date separately from the eventual PC release date and preserve the previous status for transparency.
Treat dates and requirements as unverified
Until a primary source appears, the useful answer is limited but clear: GTA VI has an announced console release and no announced PC release date. Readers should avoid preorders, key sellers, and hardware claims that imply otherwise.
