Before you order

Confirm platform, account region, edition contents, refund terms, and delivery format. Rockstar says the boxed version contains a digital download code rather than a disc. We have not verified a PC preorder.

Standard or Ultimate?

Standard includes the game. Ultimate adds digital items, and Rockstar says Standard owners can purchase the Ultimate Edition Upgrade separately later. Choose Ultimate only if the listed extras matter to you; the larger list does not change the base release date or announced platforms.

Preload and code-in-box

Official support lists November 12 at local midnight as the preload start for digital preorders and redeemed physical-version codes. Preload is an early download window, not early access. A code-in-box copy still needs internet access and platform storage.

Region and retailer checks

PlayStation codes are grouped by region in Rockstar’s support guidance, so the code should match the country group of the PlayStation account. Xbox codes are described as not region locked, though price, taxes, language options, and refund rights can still vary. Direct purchase and refund questions belong with the retailer that took the payment.
