The date replaced the earlier May 26, 2026 target. We preserve the previous target in the timeline because it explains older articles and search results, but we mark it as superseded everywhere that could be mistaken for current information.
A release date and an unlock time are different claims. Platform stores can display regional timing, preload windows, or account-specific availability. We will not convert one regional store time into a worldwide promise.
No PC date appears on the official GTA VI page reviewed for this update. Past Rockstar release patterns can inform expectations, but they cannot confirm a platform or calendar date for this game.
The October 15 launch-trailer post repeated November 19 and the two announced console families. That later confirmation is why the status remains current as of our October 20 review. If a primary source changes it again, the countdown will update while this milestone remains as part of the documented delay history.
